“Jurassic World is a 2015 American science fiction adventure film, the fourth installment of the Jurassic Park film series, and the first film in a planned Jurassic World trilogy.

It was directed by Colin Trevorrow, written by Derek Connolly and Trevorrow, produced by Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, and stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Vincent D'Onofrio, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, Omar Sy, BD Wong, and Irrfan Khan.

Set 22 years after the events of Jurassic Park, Jurassic World takes place on the same fictional Central American island of Isla Nublar, which is located off the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, where a theme park of cloned dinosaurs has operated for nearly a decade.

The park plunges into chaos when a genetically-engineered dinosaur escapes from its enclosure and goes on a rampage.

Universal Pictures intended to begin production of a fourth Jurassic Park film in 2004 for a mid-2005 release but development stalled while the script underwent several revisions. Jurassic World Gyrosphere Blast Vehicle

Following a suggestion from Spielberg, writers Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver explored the idea of a functional dinosaur park.

Once Trevorrow was hired as director in 2013, he followed the same idea while developing a new script with Derek Connolly.

Filming lasted from April to August 2014 in Louisiana and at the original Jurassic Park locations in Hawaii.

The dinosaurs were created by Industrial Light & Magic using CGI and by Legacy Effects using life-sized animatronics.”

Do you remember now watching Jurassic Park when it first came out?

In 1993 my family and I watched the movie when it first came out.

I reckoned that I was pretty scared at the time because I was still a kid then.

Jurassic Park is actually the movie that intrigued my desire to learn all about dinosaurs.

Today, they went from Jurassic Park to Jurassic World, which is just as interesting as Jurassic Park.

Jurassic World first came out in 2015, and now, there’s a second one that is set to come out on June 22, 2018.

With a new movie like this, you know what’s going to come out with it, right?

Toys!

No Jurassic movie is going to be complete without toys to go along with it and in this case, we have the Jurassic World Gyrosphere Blast Vehicle.

What is it anyway?

This awesome vehicle comes to us from Mattel.

This is two vehicles in one – it’s actually a truck, but upon further inspection, you’ll discover that there’s a gyrosphere hidden inside of the truck.

Gyrosphere Launching Action

First, I’d like to tell you about the gyrosphere launching action, which I find interesting.

There’s a button located on the top of the vehicle – when you press that button, it launches the gyrosphere (this is included).

There’s also a space where you can place action figures and raptors in order to recreate that chilling chase from the movie scenes.

Mind you, the action figures are not included, but that is okay, because you can easily purchase them separately.

Authentic Detail

I couldn’t help but to notice the detail that was put into this toy.

It is obvious that it was inspired by the movies.

The vehicle features a large front grill, a total of six big wheels and rugged construction.

Who is the Jurassic World Gyrosphere Blast Vehicle for?

This vehicle is intended for children ages 3 and up.

Not only is it for children to play with, but I know many collectors that would enjoy the gyrosphere.

Children will love playing with it and won’t have problems, because it’s easy to operate and is great for some good old fashioned imaginative play.

If you love Jurassic World yourself and you’re a collector, then this is something you’re going to want to add to your list.

Action Figures that Will Work with the Gyrosphere

As I previously mentioned, action figures do not come with this set.

However, the new Jurassic World line just so happens to be on a universal scale so that they can work with one another.

This means that you can buy any action figure in the new line and it will work with this vehicle.

So, for example, you can take Owen and put him inside the gyrosphere, then launch him inside the gyrosphere for an escape.

For even more imaginative play, toss a dinosaur in the bed of the truck for transportation.

Conclusion

Whether you’re a collector or have a child that loves dinosaurs, the Jurassic World Gyrosphere Blast Vehicle is something that I would highly recommend.
